As a Maintenance Engineer you will report into the Engineering Team Leader and will be responsible for usual engineering tasks of planned maintenance and breakdowns, but in this role you will be heavily involved in the automation of the site. This will allow you to develop your electrical skills as you will be working with PLCs, Invertors and Control Systems. You will be involved in site wide continuous improvement initiatives focusing on reducing waste, increasing efficient and reducing OEE, so you will need to be a pragmatic engineer.
The following skills and experience would be advantageous to your application:
*Electrical engineering qualification
*Experience in food manufacturing / FMCG
*PLC fault finding experience
*Good mechanical knowledge
*Knowledge of lean manufacturing
*Refrigeration experience knowledge beneficial
*City and Guilds 17th Edition beneficial
