Fresh Produce Trader

About Our Client:
Our client is an established business who have steadily grown to become a leading name in the fresh produce industry. Their core customers include the wholesalers, caterers and processors within the UK. They have formed strong links with local growers, suppliers from further afield and customers. They have a tremendous amount of knowledge within the business and are considered experts in the fresh produce sector.
About the Role:
Essentially this role is all about commercial wins and helping the business grow. You will utilise your experience, communication and rapport building skills to form lasting relationships with suppliers and customers. You will have an eye for opportunities and jump on any chances to help grow sales and the business. You will be able to utilise your experience and relationships to help drive the business forward and help grow the top and bottom lines for the business.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have fresh produce trading experience. You will have a proven track record of delivering sales and new business in the wholesale, catering and processor markets. You will be a team player and have a good 'can-do' attitude.
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will be a strong negotiator, have produce experience, a great can-do attitude and be a real commercial animal.
£35,000 - £50,000 DOE with greater earning potential for delivering results.
