Multi-Skilled Engineer, Lincolnshire
Wouldn't it be nice to work in a factory that has good planning and doesn't break down all the time, so you can properly plan your workload?
You will be working for a highly profitable food manufacturer. One of their flagship sites for automation, which has seen new business wins and investment, is looking to expand the Maintenance team. Working with PLC's and robotics is the norm here, so if you like the idea of being part of a team that shares knowledge, in a cutting-edge food manufacturing plant, this is a great opportunity to do just that.
Part of the role involves mentoring and developing production staff to deliver their first line set up and maintenance objectives, which creates a perfect opportunity to develop your own people management skills and a step towards management level, if that's your goal.
You will have:
- Experience in a FMCG, food manufacturing or similar
- Electrical bias / qualification preferred
- Understanding of PLC/HMI/PC programming and data retrieval
- Methodical record keeping details
New Maintenance Engineers start working on a 4 on 4 off 6pm to 6am shift. However, once you prove yourself in the role, there will be opportunities to move onto days when available.
Salary scale is £38,000 plus £4,000 night shift allowance.
So, if you want your ideas for improvements listened to, in a company that invests time and money in the sites and people that drive their success, apply today.
