Business Development Manager - Drinks Ingredients
With over 80 years of history Kiril Mischeff is recognised as an established supplier of dried fruit, fruit juice concentrates, purees, meat, fish, seeds and pulses to the UK food manufacturing, retail and foodservice industries. Due to recent successes and growth they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join the fruit and fruit juice ingredients division to grow their UK customer base and international supplier network.
Working with the Commercial Director this role will buy and sell fruit and fruit juice ingredients into the UK food & drink manufacturing industry. Managing a number of established accounts you will lead the day to day sales and business development with UK customers as well as develop international processing partners, negotiating at both ends of the supply chain to successfully win and manage contracts & tenders. The role will also spend time leading business development with new customers and processors keeping abreast of industry innovations and market dynamics.
The successful candidate will have at least 18 months of sales management or procurement experience in the food & drink sector and be comfortable negotiating pricing and building new relationships across an international supply chain. Previous sales or trading experience within the fruit/fruit juices would be an advantage but above all candidates must show the drive, ambition and commercial skill set be successful in this position.
