This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, fresh foods supplier which is part of a large international group. They aim to offer perfect quality products to their customers and are also committed in staff development for all employees.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination, improvement and execution of all operations including production, planning, quality, safety, maintenance and site supply chain to meet annual objectives and KPI’s in conformance with company procedures and all applicable regulatory and legal requirements.
You will lead, develop and inspire the teams to set and manage performance goals by demonstrating an effective coaching and mentoring plus maintain a culture of continuous improvement where employees are encouraged to explore more cost-effective solutions to production and supply chain processes.
To be considered for the Site Manager job, you will be able to demonstrate substantial senior production/operational/site management experience within the food manufacturing industry. Experience of working with fresh produce is essential. You will also be commercially aware, passionate about continuous improvement plus an extensive understanding of retail customer and BRC requirements. A full UK driving licence is also required.
The Site Manager is based in the West Midlands region and is paying £60,000 plus company car and private healthcare.
