Long established food manufacturing business, with an impressive portfolio of brands, are keen to hire an experienced National Account Manager, to continue their impressive growth and strengthen their commercial business function.

This is a highly visible National Account Manager role, taking full responsibility for one of their leading high value retailer focused customers, and operating as part of a strong commercial sales and marketing team.

The successful National Account Manager will ideally exhibit:

A demonstrable track record of achievement and account development as a National Account Manager ideally within a high value retailer environment.
Excellent analytical skills, commercially astute, and results oriented.
Ability to formulate strategy and vision, through making decisions and communicating these through your relationship building skills, both externally and within the business.
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Experience in negotiating and exceeding client requirements.

Duties are varied and will include: elements of business development, gaining new listings, SKU's, NPD within existing categories, with the aim of maintaining or increasing profit margin, turnover, volume, distribution and market share.
