This is an unusual opportunity in the general market place. We get CI / Lean Manager opportunities but entry level positions like this are few and far between. This would be an ideal role for someone who currently is involved in CI / Lean projects in either Process or Production and would like to specialise in this area.
The company and environment is fast-paced and successful - if you like to spend a lot of time in the office this one probably isn't for you. However, what it can offer is a product that is category leading and a market leader in its particular niche.
The company has strong commercial ties in place with strong orders, so this position is all about increasing factory efficiency and improving the bottom line for the business. You will be tasked with going in and asking "why" and "how" questions for everything - why is it done this why and how can it be improved.
The role is working for a company with a number of sites and therefore this is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a big name for themselves and in turn progress into more senior positions within the group.
The business is looking for someone with ideally food manufacturing experience who will lead projects. You will be naturally inquisitive and have a keen eye for how things can be improved. However, if you have been involved in Lean in other manufacturing areas (e.g. automotive sector) this will also be considered.
