We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a Demand or Supply Chain/Planning background to join a small team as a Demand Analyst based at Greencore Kiveton, near Sheffield or Selby.

Main responsibilities

The Demand Analyst sits between the Commercial and Supply Chain teams and will support both teams.  If you're successful, you'll be implementing the agreed Demand strategy to achieve budgeted business performance, but you'll also need to deliver presentations to customers and maintain an on-going dialogue with them.

You will build and maintain accurate forecasts, collaborating with customers, Commercial and Supply Chain colleagues, which supports effective sales and Operational performance (IBP).  In addition, you will need to overlay business intelligence onto the forecasts to provide insight and analysis into trends.

You will need to maintain and develop the forecasting related systems and processes, which in turn drives continuous excellence.

Ideal candidate

This is a fast moving business and the successful candidate will need to be able to work at pace - you'll need to be on it all the time!  You'll need excellent communication skills, be eager to learn and hungry to develop.

If you have a degree, great, but you don't need to as long of you are of degree calibre.  If you've been out of university a year or so, this may be for you.  The role would also suit someone wanting to get a good grounding for a Commercial role in the future. 

You need to be Excel literate and be analytical.

This is a small team, who at times have stressful roles, but they have fun, act quickly and thrive on the challenges they face.
