About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Head of Business Projects has overall responsibility and is wholly accountable for the delivery of specified cross functional projects ranging from day to day product life cycle to major engineering projects such as new line installations.

The Head of Business projects will:
- Identify functional experts from each contributing function as work stream leaders;
- Assemble the project teams;
- Work with work stream leaders to create project plans and critical paths;
- Provide overarching coordination of all projects and act as the 'filter' of all projects to the Refresco UK business;
- Be a business change and transformation leader, driving forward multiple projects and change activities (including change funnel gate decisions) across multiple sites of Refresco UK;
- Monitor and report on project progress as required to the UK leadership team.

What does the day to day look like? As Head of Business Projects you will:
* Create, maintain and drive project plans for allocated projects;
* Deliver allocated cross functional projects e.g. manufacturing footprint, primary distribution, value engineering, major recipe or packaging changes, integration activities;
* Generate and maintain a projects register to include all project activities within Refresco UK;
* Use the S&OP process to identify and resolve risks to critical paths;
* Be the initial filter for all NPD project requests;
* Own communication for project updates and presentations to the UK leadership team;
* Visit customer head offices when required for full range reviews/redesign projects;
* Own and Chair change management stream of the S&OP process;
* Attend key S&OP meetings.

About You
As Head of Business Projects you will need:
- Excellent Project Management experience and a track record of achievement in project delivery preferably within the Food & Drinks Manufacturing or FMCG industry sectors;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment at a senior level;
- Strong commercial and business sense and understanding of systems & processes;
- Experience of working in and managing large cross functional teams;
- Experience of multi-site project management and coordination of remote teams and stakeholders;
- Experience of Product Life cycle Management.
- Preferably a degree or equivalent in business management/supply chain related disciplines;
- Prince 2 or GANTT project management qualifications;
- Strong direct and remote leadership skills.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, able to influence at senior levels and tailor communication to different audiences. You have worked in and are used to highly change orientated and transformational business environments and you are used to taking control of fluid situations, bringing some order and delivering sound commercial solutions.

Acquisition of Cott Beverages bottling activities
On January 30, 2018 Refresco announced completion of the acquisition of the bottling activities of Cott Beverages.
In combining Refresco's strong European capabilities and Cott's strength in the UK and North America, Refresco almost doubles its production volume to approximately 12 billion litres. The combination provides customers access to seamless service across geographies and an unrivalled production platform with access to all non-alcoholic beverages categories.
