The Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales this is a rare and exclusive opportunity to become a pivotal member of this vibrant company. You'll play an essential role in the development of a robust sales network, forming and nurturing strong relationships with retail customers from independents to major multiples.

In addition to identifying and driving new business opportunities you’ll develop and implement marketing plans using your knowledge of the latest food trends, contribute to brand campaigns alongside representing the company at trade fairs and key industry events. You’ll be accountable for negotiating prices, rebates, promotions and payment terms to ensure that the best deals are secured.  

Aware of your competitors’ lines you’ll also identify potential business opportunities and be instrumental in driving projects forward to increase the company’s position within the market place.

The Person

We are looking for a commercially switched-on & proactive foodie who has some previous sales experience with a growing and dynamic company in the food industry. You’ll be customer focused and have an interest in developing your commercial career, and will enjoy taking the initiative to create new opportunities as well as being able to offer outstanding levels of customer service. You’ll need to be confident at developing effective working relations and have excellent influencing and negotiation skills. You must have amazing communication and negotiation skills and will be able to deliver presentations with flair and finesse in order to influence key decision makers at all levels.
