Multi-skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) | Food Production
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer to be part of the Maintenance team at their production site in Boston. This role will be working on a rotating, 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Candidates must have completed the 17th Edition wiring training and have experience of working in fast-paced manufacturing environments. If you have worked with fruit or vegetable processing machinery, I would definitely like to speak to you!
As part of the Maintenance team, you will use your knowledge of manufacturing machinery to carry out reactive and planned maintenance across the factory. Supporting the production teams by identifying training needs where necessary and coaching operators to improve performance. In addition, the Multi-skilled Engineer will need to support production managers by identifying and carrying out improvements to the machinery and staff training needs.
A good knowledge of fault finding and programming PLCs would be highly desirable, particularly Omron and Mitsubishi.

This role would suit Maintenance Technicians, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineers or Shift Engineers. Experience of working in the food or fresh produce industries would be highly beneficial.
