The Company

This is an excellent chance to join a prominent international food manufacturer producing innovative chilled products across a vast range of categories for prestigious customers. This fast paced and desirable company are now looking for an experienced Senior Business Manager to join their successful team.

The Role

As a leading member of this vibrant commercial team you’ll take direct responsibility for a high level retail account, driving business forward through developing relationships whilst actively seeking out new opportunities within your category. Working with key customer contacts you’ll formulate tailored plans to deliver persuasive presentations, utilising your extensive retail sector knowledge to formulate effective promotional plans and drive category growth. You will be the first port of call for all your customer’s needs, providing regular reports and forecasts to ensure their expectations are exceeded and solid relationships maintained. In addition you’ll work closely with internal NPD teams to devise commercially viable product strategies that achieve business targets as well as market leading innovation.

The Person

We are looking for a passionate and engaging Senior Business or National Account Manager who has gained experience in managing major multiple accounts for a large FMCG food manufacturing business in the chilled sector. Confident and commercially aware, you’ll have a proven record of sales achievement within a complex product sector where you have been the driving force behind key commercial projects to produce excellent results. You’ll also have a proven record of strategic category development where you have worked with cross functional teams to present and deliver successful business plans and promotional activity.

You’ll also have developed your negotiation and influencing skills through maintaining strong business relationships with your customers as well as internal teams with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Naturally forward thinking and outgoing, you’ll have a flexible and methodical approach to tasks where you can think on your feet to devise and implement business solutions.
