This highly regarded manufacturer specialises in the distribution of raw materials from their dedicated facilities in the East Midlands. They have built up a reputation for supplying the highest quality products and from their expert knowledge in the industry, have formed excellent relationships with producers and customers worldwide.
The purpose of the role is to conduct technical activities to assist with the development and maintenance of a “quality first” approach and to ensure colleagues have the appropriate information, systems and procedures, to deliver a quality product that is right first time. You will carry out preparation of technical documentation including specifications, safety data sheets, product questionnaires, Halal declarations, Kosher certificates, etc.
You will be a holder of a food technology / food science related degree and/or possess some relevant technical experience within food manufacturing. You will preferably have chemistry knowledge plus familiarity with SALSA and BRC would be advantageous. You will be highly organised, be able to manage your own workload plus working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
The Technical Administrator job is based in the East Midlands region and is paying £16,000 - £18,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
