A great opportunity to join a hugely successful food manufacturing business.

I'm looking for a talented Senior Buyer to join a leading food business. It provides a portfolio of high quality foods on a daily basis to demanding customer specifications and supply chain requirements. It's a busy site and you will have line management responsibility for an Assistant Buyer. Working closely with technical, planning and operations teams you'll ensure that the right ingredients and packaging are all in place, enabling products to be manufactured to the right spec, right price and on time.

Managing a key supply base across a variety of ingredients and packaging you'll be responsible for all site purchasing activities and will also have group wide responsibility for a number of key categories. You'll negotiate contract terms and prices to ensure maximum commercial benefits are achieved for the business.

I'm looking for someone with a strong procurement background gained from an FMCG or food business. You'll need to have a logical approach when working under pressure and excellent numerical and interpersonal skills. Ideally CIPS qualified you'll also have a high standard of Excel skills.

If you're a driven Buyer with a flexible approach looking for the next step up please send your CV through to me today.
