Account Manager (12 Month Contract) | Soft Fruit | £Competitive
We are working with a very large competitor in the stone fruit and berry sector who produce and sell across Europe, Africa and more recently into Asia and South America. This business see's the future in simplifying the supply chain and adding value where possible to the end product.
In this varied role you will get the opportunity to analyse the customer's commercial data and implement your own plan to drive change, based on your findings. The commercial running of the account will be left up to you to do as you see fit, you will be the face that the customer see's of the business and responsible for building a relationship with clients that will benefit future dealings. You will also be able to identify marketing opportunities, manage marketing funds and engage with the insight team where necessary to ensure that all avenues are explored thoroughly.
The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:
A good level of experience (2-3 years) within the fresh produce, fruit or other fast-moving food category is essential to understanding the speed and nature of the role.
Great communication and rapport building skills will be essential to the role, whether it is communicating with internal teams or externally with customers.
Microsoft Office skills are also essential, being familiar with Excel will enable to discern data quickly and present it in an easy to digest format.
