Supply Chain Manager / Import | Food | Surrey | £45k - £50k

About the Employer:
Our client is an established food business that is going through a period of rapid growth. They serve the retail multiples with a variety of products through brand and own label as well as the food service channel. They have seen consistent growth over the past 5+ years and are keen to add more talent to their team to facilitate further business growth.
About the Role:
The role will focus on managing the supply of their products which come from across the globe. You will utilise your experience in freight / logistics / import to drive efficiencies and ensure that orders are fulfilled 100% of the time. Experience in complete supply chain will be beneficial - from production to retailer / customer. You will utilise your experience in managing shipping of hundreds/thousands of containers from multiple sources to deliver exception service levels.
The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years' experience in supply chain AND import, within food retail who is looking for a step up. You will have a track record of delivering efficiencies and orders through a complex supply chain at pace with the major food retailers. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the food supply chain. You will be well educated with a minimum of a 2:1 degree, ideally from a Redbrick / Russell Group University.
To be considered for this role you must hold a degree to a minimum 2:1 standard and have experience as a supply chain manager with import experience.
Circa £45k - £50k + package DOE
