We are built on people like you: an exceptional Quality Assurance Manager who has what it takes to make an impact in our UK Poultry division; UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters' business by sales. The division employs over 7,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers such as Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Aldi.

About the Role:

Amber Foods is a sub division of UK Poultry, managing wholesale and retail frozen production, including baadering and intercompany fresh poultry production.

Managing a team of 16 QAs and QA Controllers, you will report directly to the Site Technical Manager, focussing heavily on our QMS.

You will be responsible for ensuring not only the quality of the finished product but the production process, factory environment, adhering to GMP standards and enforcing the site's food safety and hygiene policies. You will manage the adherence to the customer specifications, legislation and business requirements and ensure achievement against customer and internal audits relating to a QA matters, QA staff are adequately skilled and look to implement improved methods of working, focused around reducing compliance and quality failures.

About You:

Food production / manufacturing background.

Food hygiene level 3 / 4. HACCP Qualification.
