An exciting job opportunity is now available for an experienced Supply Chain, Warehouse or Logistics Manager to join our Supply Chain Team in our UK Poultry Division.

This is a role which you have been waiting for, as the Supply Chain Support Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operational support of sites in all areas of the dispatch and logistics supply chain.

Pulling upon your previous experience, you will be able to drive a continuous improvement ethos ensuring dispatch conformance and 'one way of working' across the division.

You will also deliver identified supply chain optimisation, be the S&OP liaison and be able to forward project the weekly costs

As the Supply Chain Support Manager, you will develop and maintain strong internal customer and supplier relationships, working closely with production sites to ensure that needs are met and standards are maintained throughout the logistics supply chain. Along with engaging with sites and external service providers to identify, devise and deliver 'cost out' plans to deliver reduction in 'Cost per Case'.

About you

Previous experience in a similar management position within FMCH or Manufacturing.

Experience in logistics / transport management.

Excellent Communication skills.

Excellent Stakeholder Management skills, where you are able to challenge and influence effectively.

Experienced and a good understanding of Dispatch Systems.

Experience of driving & delivery of cost reduction agendas. Numeric and experienced in understanding and translating costs.

Ideally experienced with the retailers in the food sector.
