The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our experienced and growing Agriculture team and act as a key contact connecting our Poultry business with our retail partners. This is a great opportunity, one that doesn't come around often, a chance for someone to really undertake a varied role of account management and farm liaison.

You will utilise your Poultry farming expertise to ensure we adhere to our customer specifications in relation to animal welfare, supply chain, slaughter and more. Using your experience within the farming community and strong stakeholder skills you will build lasting relationships with the retailer agriculture teams. This will include building a detailed understanding of their supplier specifications and all of the expectations we have for our poultry farming partners and kill sites.

Using your strong administration skills to report on any findings and ensure all key communication is deliver in a professional format, with a key details clearly outlined. A general overview— This person will act as key contact between our farms, retailers and factories on all poultry growing and killing related matters. This will require you build relationships with key people in the business allowing you to quickly gather information essential to reports required by our retailers and assisting with any investigations. You will be given a great level of support, but also the autonomy to make the role your own.

About you:

Poultry farming background / knowledge with professional communication skills. Someone looking for a challenging and varied role. No two days are the same so you will need to be able to quickly adapt and manage multiple projects while maintaining a positive approach to dealing with many stakeholders all at once.

Essential skills / knowledge / qualifications

  • Indepth knowledge of poultry Supply Chain Professional communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to customers
  • IT literate (Able to use powerpoint/ word/ excel confidently) 
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Ideally Degree educated — however demonstrable experience will be considered
