Site Technical Manager
A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established, highly regarded Food supplier to the major multiples. We are seeking a Site Technical Manager on their behalf, to become part of a successful, international business.
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, this position will take ownership of the site technical department, and become the key technical contact for the UK retailers, building & developing relationships, and ensuring the highest level of standards are achieved. As part of the Senior Management team, the successful individual will liaise with technical colleagues in the UK & Europe, to ensure customer needs are met in a timely, and accurate manner, delivering ongoing product improvement & consistency, working to reduce customer complaints/claims, and to ensure the UK factory meets customer/audit standards, including HACCP principles, BRC, TFMS, and ethical requirements.
This role requires an experienced Technical individual from the Food sector, who is looking to develop within a successful, and progressive business. Previous experience with the UK retailers, and strong management skills are key.
This position will require flexibility, due to some travel abroad.
