National Account Manager - Soup
Take full profitable responsibility for the Convenience and Wholesale customer base for Hain Daniels Soup category. NAM must deliver step change in profitable growth for the Convenience & Wholesale Channel. The successful candidate must be able to successfully build Head Office, National and Regional Account relationships. The role works across all 3 Hain brands: New Covent Garden, Yorkshire Provender and Cully & Sully. Key objective of driving sales, distribution and visibility of all Hain Daniels soup brands.
Role will require extensive travel to all Hain soup sites, Hain head office and multiple customers. This role may include overnight stays.
Manage a portfolio of accounts, accountable for the achievement of agreed budgets within strictly governed financial limitations. Responsible for driving Sales, Profit, Promotions and Distribution.
Develop annual strategic account plans, operate within them, and dovetail with the Joint Business Plan within the account. Manage the plan and update quarterly. This plan will encompass all the POP drivers.
Create and implement a full promotional programme within the account, dovetailed with the Marketing plan and operating within the agreed Promotional Guidelines.
Work cross functionally across all internal departments.
What you will need for the role / what it will take
- Ideally, FMCG blue chip sales background, sales experience of dealing with Nisa, Spar, Londis/Budgens, Costcutter, Booths, Brakes, Booker.
- Strong Inter-personal and inter-personnel skills
- Results focussed
- Strong Commercial acumen (Numerous and accuracy)
- Good Negotiation skills
- Experience of this trading sector
- Track record of building customer/supplier relationships
