You will be working with a very well-known brand with the majority of your responsibility being based around looking after the big accounts that already exist. There of course is some new business requirements but you work in sales, what more can you expect? You will be home based with visits to the head office only being necessary as and when required. So, this really is an opportunity to show what you can do, show that you can get the results.
How do you know if you are right for this role? Well you will have experience of managing on-trade accounts, dealing into pubs, restaurants, etc. Ideally you will have dealt with beverages but food is also desirable. But your previous experience is not as important as your character and personality, this business does not believe in micro-management but don't think that makes this role an easy ride. You will have to deliver by being entrepreneurial and having the internal motivate to still strive for results without someone holding your hand. If you can do this there is scope for you to progress and grow professionally, others who have joined in this role have seen themselves progressing after just one year of service.
