About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen, a rare opportunity that unlike most will provide you with full training and put you on course for a long term career within our site at Merthyr Tydfil.
You will however need to bring with you the core skills and experiences of attention to detail IT literacy (including previous regular use of excel), self-motivated, hardworking and above all the right positive attitude.
In return for your ability to focus on the detail and your tireless efforts, we will train you in areas such as labour planning, production and raw materials planning, order entry, efficiencies and our broad product range.
You will learn the how each of our tasty products is produced using which equipment to allow you to efficiently plan our production schedule, considering things such as machinery change over times, labour use and materials availability.
You will forecast future requirements and ensure raw materials are readily available, working closely with different departments to ensure stock levels are managed in a cost effect manner.
Now as we're providing full training and going to give you all the key tools to be successful, we're looking for nothing less than real ambition, a desire to succeed and someone hardworking.
You will be a logical thinker with basic IT skills, previously used Microsoft Excel / Word and bring with you a dedicated and strong work ethic. You will be looking for a long term role, we're not interested in stop gaps.
