This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the fastest growing and entrepreneurial blue-chip companies in the UK. Your role will be based at a brand-new state of the art production and manufacturing site which has been purpose built to meet the growing needs of the business.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Group Quality Manager and business in ensuring full compliance with all quality, food, safety, GMP, environment, customer and legislative standards and policies and external certification.
Working as part of the site leadership team, a partnership approach is required, and the focus is on coaching, training and developing your stakeholders to ensure ongoing and robust compliance.
In addition, you will lead microbiology related investigations and improvements to ensure industry best practice.
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in a food based discipline, you will possess 3 years minimum quality management experience within food/drink manufacturing. You will have proven leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001), HACCP, BRC and GMP standards. Food microbiological knowledge and understanding of industry standard micro testing methods is highly desirable.
The Quality Manager job is based in the Home Counties / Midlands region and is paying £40,000 - £45,000 plus excellent benefits including company pension, 25 days annual leave, life assurance, childcare vouchers and share scheme. This is a day-based role.
