Senior Commercial Manager | Fresh Produce | Excellent salary
We are currently working with a large and well regarded fresh produce company who are looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Manager. This is a key role for the business and there are some big opportunities for the right person to be developing further within the business. They have a lot of sales opportunities at the moment and the right person will help them to achieve these, as well as managing some of their current accounts.
As the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing some of their key supermarket accounts, including price negotiations and agreeing promotional activity.
You will be responsible for delivering the company's strategic plans within your given customers, as well as developing the plans to achieve this.
Keeping an eye on the rest of the market will be essential to your success in this role. This is a competitive area and it will be important to stay one step ahead of your competition.
Continually challenging costs to ensure the processes are as lean as possible.
Will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Fresh Produce (ideally Veg) and have dealt with some of the major retailers in a Commercial/Account Management role previously.
Good communication skills will be vital to the success of this role.
Due to the varied nature of the role, the ability to effectively prioritise tasks will be essential.
Will work well as part of a team but won't be afraid to challenge the "norm".
