We are currently working with a large and well regarded fresh produce company who are looking to appoint a highly capable and enthusiastic Multi Skilled Engineer. Established over 50 years ago, this leading fresh produce business supplies customers all across the UK and Europe.

If you are a highly experienced, knowledgeable and qualified Engineer with a proven track record within a food environment, I want to speak to you!

You will be working on a 3-2-2 shift pattern working days; fulfilling a wide range of tasks including planned preventative maintenance and providing efficient response to breakdowns in order to maintain optimum efficiency.

You will also be expected to actively seek CI and Lean opportunities and implement those where possible to further develop the efficient and productivity of the business.

As an Engineer you will have outstanding knowledge of planned maintenance routines, fault finding methodologies and able to work under your own initiative. It is essential you are multi-skilled and will ideally come from a food background.

You will be required to have strong mechanical and electrical skills and hold a qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). It is highly desirable that you have a good working knowledge of PLC's, pneumatics & hydraulics.

In return the role offers a highly competitive salary. Overtime is paid at a rate of time and a quarter
