This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an award-winning business which produces high quality, specialist chilled products which are supplied to both retailer and wholesale businesses.
As Packing Team Leader, you will carry out daily supervision and operation of packing lines.
You will supervise staff and packing lines to required standards, ensure good output of products to meet the specification required for each consignment and customer, ensure relevant production paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner, assist the training of new staff as required, ensure lines are operated within food safety parameters and carry out quality control checks escalating any issues to the technical team.
We are seeking a committed, positive individual who has some supervisory / team leading experience in a manufacturing/production environment, most ideally food manufacturing. You will have had previous responsibility for stock management and waste management and a working knowledge of quality control checks is highly desirable. You will also be competent using Microsoft Office software, be well organised and have good communication skills.
The Packing Team Leader job is based in the Home Counties / London region and is paying £9.12 per hour plus. The working hours are 5.30am – 5.30pm (12 hours shifts) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
