Engineering Manager (Newly created role with SME - Nottingham)
This entrepreneurial, award winning, SME food manufacturer, is enjoying steep growth and going from strength to strength. They now require a hands on Engineering Manager to lead and develop their small site maintenance team. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a newly created opportunity and so offers a good degree of flexibility and scope, as you make role this your own. Working closely with the Operations and Support teams to ensure all engineering activity is completely efficiently and in line with Company core values.
Essentially you would have a recent background in food manufacturing engineering – bakery experience would be hugely advantageous but not essential. Ideally you will be time served, electrically qualified Engineer, although you will demonstrate understanding of mechanical and electrical competencies. Experience of leading small improvement and capex projects would also be advantageous as would any lean / improvement / six sigma studies and practical experience.
