Job Title: Quality Technician  

Employment Type: Permanent  

Hours: 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday  

Place of work: Nutriblend House, Mills Road, Priory Park, Aylesford, ME20 7PP

Reporting To: Quality Manager

Prinova has over 30 years of international purchasing expertise in dry blending, liquid blending, flavor manufacturing, milling & micronization, packaging, and contract manufacturing.  
Aylesford site is a key supplier of vitamin and mineral premixes into the food industry in Europe and worldwide. Our customers are major food manufacturers with high quality expectations, which are directly translated in our quality systems and practices.

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinating finished products and RM sample analysis with internal and external laboratories
  • Collating analysis results and positively releasing finished product
  • Issuing customer C of A based on positive results
  • Verifying batch documents and labels prior to releasing them to production for manufacture
  • Flag any analytical failures (OOS results) to the rest of the operational team
  • Coordinate concession and urgent orders with customer support team
  • Coordinate the majority of document control activities after Quality Manager approval
  • Participate to weekly Hygiene Audits plan
  • Conduct Weekly environmental swabs in production
  • Support tracking and completion of customer questionnaires and enquiries
  • Coordinate document control system for the site
  • Carry out some of the site pre-requisite controls such as temperature and humidity records  

Requirements/Competencies:

  • Experience in the food industry, preferably in a quality / technical role desirable
  • Great attention to detail
  • Very competent in the use of Microsoft Office including  excel / word / outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Organised and methodical
  • Works well under pressure
  • Handles well changes of priorities
  • Team player with great communication skills
  • Assertive and confident
