The office you will be working in is bright, busy and spacious with room to grow your team. You will use your natural management skills to lead and mentor your internal team of four; drive them and the department forward, improve profit performance via increased sales and margin as well as improve efficiencies.
Day to day duties will also include, dealing with overseas partners in regards to delivery and stock availability, in-house product/sales analysis, signing off transport invoices, quoting, order processing, issuing credits for clients/dealing with returns and the general day to day that comes with managing your own team including holidays, sickness, reviews, office politics etc.
To excel in this role, you must:
- Have prior and recent management experience with a 'lead by example' approach
- Be enthusiastic and driven but also be able to show empathy and challenge team members when needed
The ideal candidate will be from the print/paper/cartonboard/packaging industry, other merchant backgrounds will be considered.
