The Production Manager is a hands-on position which requires spending most of the time in the production areas. You will be responsible for the success of the manufacturing process, managing approximately 35 members of staff, managing all operations that fall within the assigned department and ensuring that products are made to a high quality and safety standard in line with food safety & health & safety regulations.
You will also drive process & operational efficiency and ensure that set standards are consistently met, lead and develop a pro-active, employee engaging and problem solving attitude in the workplace plus support business projects and improvement activities.
To be considered for the Production Manager job, you will have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a cook/chill food manufacturing environment, have a passion and understanding of food beyond a working environment plus a proven track record of team management with a proactive approach to achieve continuous improvement of standards. You will be an excellent communicator, have strong influencing skills and possess good IT skills in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
The Production Manager’s job is based in the London region and is paying £32,000 - £34,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. This is a day based role.
