In the UK, we are number one across all four categories within fresh prepared foods, Meals, Salads, Desserts and Pizza & Bread.
Our customers include some of the UK’s best known grocery retailers such as Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op and Aldi who sell our products to consumers under their respective retailer brands.
Our operations in the US and China supply fresh prepared food to both retail and foodservice customers.
Our Technical Programme
Over two 12-month placements, you’ll help determine what can and can’t be done with processes and technology. You’ll work with New Product Development, Production, Purchasing and many other departments to find innovative solutions to all kinds of issues. Expect to gain key skills in everything from food safety, food labelling and microbiology to internal auditing and factory hygiene. Not to mention management and leadership. After two years, you’ll join us in a permanent role, giving you the potential to grow into a Technical Manager.
What you’ll need
You’ll need a technical, food related or science based degree at a minimum of 2:2 , and at least 3 months’ work experience in a technical, manufacturing or professional services environment. As well as having excellent organisational skills, you'll need to promote the highest standards in health and safety.
What we offer
As well as a salary of £24,500, you’ll receive an additional £1000 payment when you start, and your salary is reviewed after completing your first year with us. We’ll also cover the costs for 2 weeks B&B or rent, plus reasonable removal costs. Our sites are located throughout the UK and your placements could take you from the south of England to Scotland. There may even be the chance to work in one of our international sites. So you’ll need to show great flexibility.
