In the UK, we are number one across all four categories within fresh prepared foods, Meals, Salads, Desserts and Pizza & Bread.
Our customers include some of the UK’s best known grocery retailers such as Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op and Aldi who sell our products to consumers under their respective retailer brands.
Our operations in the US and China supply fresh prepared food to both retail and foodservice customers.
Our Manufacturing Programme
You’ll work in two 12-month placements, doing real jobs with a varied product portfolio and different customers. You’ll spend some time focusing on Logistics, Planning or Engineering. And you’ll also take responsibility for managing operators on a line. In addition to on-the-job coaching and mentoring, you’ll experience training in subjects such as presentation skills, intelligent manufacturing, leadership and management. After two years, we’ll expect you to be working as a Supervisor or Section Manager, setting you up for a future senior operations role.
What you’ll need
You’ll need a manufacturing, engineering or business related degree at a minimum 2:2 and at least 3 months’ work experience in a manufacturing or professional services environment. As well as organisational and technical skills, you'll need to promote the highest standards in health and safety.
What we offer
As well as a salary of £24,500, you’ll receive an additional £1000 payment when you start, and your salary is reviewed after completing your first year with us. We’ll also cover the costs for 2 weeks B&B or rent, plus reasonable removal costs. Our sites are located throughout the UK and your placements could take you from the south of England to Scotland. There may even be the chance to work in one of our international sites. So you’ll need to show great flexibility.
Our Accelerated Management Scheme is for graduates who can think bigger and grow faster. We created it to develop the future-leaders and shapers of our business.
