Would you like to use your solid management skills to set the agenda for 160 dedicated employees? Then we offer you the opportunity to head up a major and complex dairy in an independent role where you will be able to influence the entire organization in terms of performance, strategy and quality.  Bislev Dairy in Nibe is a modern dairy producing 60,000 tons of cheese, which is sold worldwide every year with a future focus on developing the MENA and China markets. Bislev is a center of excellence for processed cheese glasses and white cheese brick and cans and the PUCK® brand is our main driver for growth.

Setting a clear direction and focus on performance
With reference to the Vice President for Speciality Cheese, you ensure a continued development of the dairy, and you have the ultimate responsibility for living up to business plans, budgets and production requirements. Your primary task is to manage the dairy’s activities to ensure that we meet Arla Foods’ strategy and goals.

In collaboration with the rest of the leadership team, you contribute to maintaining and further optimising our technologies and processes. A further important task is to ensure a good and safe working environment where employee satisfaction, collaboration and development of the employees are paramount. Finally, it will be your responsibility to lead, coach and develop the leadership team at the dairy.

Look forward to taking on a challenging position with great responsibility, and as interaction across the organisation is vital, you will also gain a large network within both Supply Chain and Commercial.

Broad technical competencies and robust leadership skills
You have a strong background within dairy production combined with a good commercial business understanding. With solid management experience, you have driven change towards a performance-oriented culture where Lean has been a central tool. As such, you have a broad technical knowledge as well as knowledge of quality management with an emphasis on hygiene and food safety. In addition, the position requires an insight into business economics as well as budgeting. Finally, you can communicate in both Danish and English in both speech and writing.

As a leader, you motivate and inspire your employees, just as you contribute actively to creating a feeling of team spirit, so we can maintain an attractive workplace with high employee engagement. You know how important it is to lead by example and be the good role model and you are robust and set ambitious goals for yourself, while staying grounded.
