Foodjob Nordic is searching for an experienced Dairy Professional to become Customer Innovation Specialist at AAK.

Job description

As Customer Innovation Specialist you will be responsible for driving and strengthening AAKs application knowledge and pilot plant capabilities within your area of expertize (i.e. cheese, whipped toppings or ice cream). Together with customers own representatives and your colleagues in the AAK team, you will create tailor-made solutions to fulfill the customer's specific needs.  This includes: 

  • Knowing and understanding customer's technologies and products 
  • Technical advice on processes, formulations and validating product functionality 
  • Visiting the customers, making plant trials etc. 
  • Developing new, tailor made products and applications as well as optimizing existing products and applications 
  • Optimizing formulations combining relevant technologies 

You will be working closely together with AAK sales and the marketing organization and be a vital part of AAKs Global Customer Innovation Dairy network.

Your home Dairy Customer Innovation Center will be the one in Karlshamn Sweden, but you will also be active in the solution development in other AAK dairy pilot plants and labs located at several different sites around the Globe. Therefore some travelling activity must be expected.

Profile

Besides from a solid theoretical foundation as Bachelor or Master in Food Science/Food Technology, you have several years of experience working in or with the dairy or ice cream industry. You are confident in the role as expert, and you keep yourself updated with the latest scientific and market developments within your field of expertise.

Based on an outgoing personality you are comfortable approaching the customers alone or together with colleagues. You should also be able to see yourself working closely together with the customers on their home field being creative and good at finding solutions.  Both customers and colleagues will expect you to be a proactive and flexible team-player, strong in project management and with excellent communications skills.
