This company started as a small operation around 40 years ago. Now they are one of the biggest retailer's key suppliers within their sector. Due to a new major investment to their site they are looking to recruit new employees to add to their growing team. At their busiest times you can see them produce around two millions products a week. The site is run on a 24/7 operation so shifts within the company can includes days, evenings and nights. Within the company they offer employees a number of benefits making it one of the best packages within the food industry.

Key Responsibilities for QA Manager:
Co-ordinate and complete process validations of all key processes. Analyse results and findings, submit summary report for sign off under Factory Technical Manager Guidance.
Lead, co-ordinate, coach and support the QA team within the company's vision, values and communication framework, on shifts to maximise performance of their accountabilities.
Communicate effectively the business priorities to all stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Planning and Management of QA resources (Roster, holidays and sickness) to ensure a smooth service delivery to meet business requirements. Participates in grievance and disciplinary processes should the need arise. Step down as last resort to provide shift QA cover.
Participate and direct QA Team to observe and audit production processes and GMP ensuring products are made to specifications. With reporting findings to the Factory Technical Manager as appropriate.
Assist in the delivery of site standards for visits and audits either through direct input, indirect support and/ or organisation of QA team activities.
Identify, plan, devise and deliver QA Training Programmes to maximise value added service.
Co-ordinate, support, coach and follow up internal auditors to ensure completion of all scheduled internal audits in timely manner.

The QA Manager will need to have:
People management skills. Previous experience of managing a team within a food manufacturing environment.
Demonstration of achievement in application for the management of food hygiene, food safety, HACCP and quality management systems.
Experience of decision making responsibilities. An ability to make sound decisions in "real - time" and escalate as appropriate.
High care / chilled food processing experience (in a FMCG environment)
HACCP qualification
