A position has just become available working for an extremely passionate business which is dedicated to producing only the finest and highest quality chilled products.
The purpose of your role as NPD Pastry Chef, will be to assist in the creation of bespoke recipes in line with customer expectations and be an active member of the development team.
You will perform kitchen based recipe development ensuring that the project is delivered within the timescales agreed, record and document recipes in Word and Excel, coordinate trials with production and to manage the scale up and handover of new products, monitor early production to ensure delivery of the desired new product plus evaluate new suppliers and ingredients introduced as part of the products you develop.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a clear passion, skill and innovative flair in patisserie in order to create top quality products for high profile clients. You will have practical experience in patisserie from within a restaurant/hotel environment or from within food manufacturing, the ability to work under pressure, possess NVQ level 3/4 in patisserie or equivalent and be competent in using Microsoft Office.
The NPD Pastry Chef job is based in South East region and is paying £20,000 - £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
