Quality Systems Manager 

Quality Systems Manager required to join our Client, a chilled food manufacturer who supply high quality, short shelf life products to the leading UK retailers.

The role

Due to a restructure of the Technical department, the role of Quality Systems Manager has been reinstated to add further support and lead the QA team, ensuring standards and a high level of quality are achieved. As the Quality Systems Manager you will report to the Technical Manager and lead a number of internal and external audits, working with all departments across the site to achieve your goals. 

About you

We’re looking for someone with a degree in food science or equivalent, ideally with Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 HACCP, with 2+ years experience in a similar role.  An organised approach to work is essential combined with the ability to flex to changing demands, people management skills and coaching and development experience. Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques and demonstrable experience of successfully implementing those is also important as well as the ability to interact with high profile customers.
