New Product Development Manager

In this multifaceted role you’ll be responsible for developing new product ranges from concept to launch in line with the NPD strategy whilst incorporating brand values. Liaising closely with Marketing and Technical teams you’ll play a key role in the generation of concept briefs including aspects such as flavours, recipes, textures, raw materials and nutritional elements.
You’ll also be working with suppliers to source new ingredients that match product specifications as well as food safety standards to ensure that all products are of the best levels of quality without compromising on taste. In addition you’ll be benchmarking new product portfolios whilst undertaking market performance reviews to guarantee that the reputation of this trusted brand is maintained.
We are looking for a confident and motivated Food Science or Technology graduate who has gained strong, well-rounded NPD experience in food product development within a fast paced FMCG environment. You’ll have worked within a team to launch exciting new ranges where you have developed a good working knowledge of all aspects of NPD including technical requirements. A thorough understanding of NPD processes is also essential as you’ll be working with internal teams to drive continuous improvements and deliver new products that are time and cost efficient. You must also have excellent project management, organisation and communication skills in order to succeed in this diverse role.
