Production Shift Manager, Food Manufacturing, Norfolk
Not feeling challenged, looking for a larger team to manage? Enjoy working shifts 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm or nights 10pm - 6am
You will be excited to work in a large food manufacturing business and be itching to take on a larger team to manage; your shift team will consist of up to fifty operatives plus any agency staff, which will vary depending on season.
Supplying a diverse range of customers and the pace required to do this comes naturally to you. A highly pressurised environment is what gets you out of bed in a morning.
As with any shift manager role there are the day to day key responsibilities and KPI's to report on
* Health, Safety & Environment
* Safety & Quality
* Plant Standards
* Continuous Improvement
* People Management and Development
* Performance Management
* Holidays and Absence Management
KPI's will include;
* Total Accidents
* Costumer Complaints
* Right First Time
* Holds & Repairs
* Labour variance
* Material usage variance
But with your experience it's the adding value, improving people and the process that excites you.
A natural leader with a team ethos you will also take great pride in coaching and mentoring people to get the best out of them.
