A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to lead, manage and drive assigned manufacturing operations to contribute to overall performance objectives. This Supply Chain Manager role will also be accountable for achieving outstanding quality, customer focus, costs and service levels as well as continuous operational improvement projects.

Supply Chain Manager responsibilities include:

Implement and on an on-going basis suggest improvements to procurement policies, procedures and processes to ensure consistency of approach across site and continuous improvement.
Develop, present and manage assigned suppliers capital budgets and forecasts in line with the anticipated future business demands.
Support the company S&OP process so that strategic decisions can be made in a timely manner.
Lead the identification of capital requirements, planning and executing capital improvement and replacement projects.
Ensure external manufacturing operations deliver operational plans within remit on time and in full to agreed customer service, quality levels and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and costs.
Lead the site input for all projects, ensuring appropriately skilled resources are aligned to projects, to enable the development of future capability within assigned external manufacturing operations.
Report on at least monthly basis to the Head of Supply Chain to enable him/her to update Board.
You will be a Supply Chain Manager / Head of Supply chain used to operating within a large FMCG Manufacturing environment. You will ideally be degree qualified in a relevant technical / commercial discipline with a proven track record in leadership experience. You will be an analytical thinker with experience to resolve complex problems.
A Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) qualification or Six Sigma (ideally green/black belt) will be deemed advantageous.
