We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to work for a well-established and ethical manufacturer which is based out of a modern, high tech production facility.
As Quality Manager, the purpose of your role is to provide leadership in managing the company’s Quality Management and for continuous QM improvement plus be responsible for managing all aspects of QA and QC activities, from receipt to processing of raw materials into finished products.
You will be responsible for the quality of raw materials and finished products and compliance with necessary product specifications, be responsible for compliance of all products throughout the factory including documentation, implement and develop the company Quality and Food Safety Management System, be a key HACCP team member , ensure production environments are maintained to high standards, contribute to the delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of the manufacturing facility, investigate and report on all non-conformances and train staff to improve staff awareness and knowledge in food safety and quality.
You will ideally be educated to a degree level with a food related discipline and possess solid experience from a similar technical/QA position within food manufacturing. You will ideally have experience supervising a QA team and be familiar with BRC food safety standards. You will possess a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail plus effective planning and organisational skills.
The Quality Manager job is based in the Home Counties / South Central and is paying up to £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
