My client is a leading food consultancy offering support and advice to the food manufacturing industry globally. This role is focused on bakery and bakery ingredients science and research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting scientific and technical activities relating in particular to baking and cereal processing, in order to serve the best interests of the relevant industrial sectors.

Day to day duties will include
  • Manage and execute research projects for bakery clients
  • Assist with proposal writing
  • Present technical data to clients for reports and in training courses

Qualifications and Competencies
  • Graduate or equivalent in food science, bakery science, biochemistry or engineering 
  • Knowledge of laboratory methods and analytical chemistry
  • Confident to present data in both written and verbal forms 
  • Good organisational skills
