National Account Manager | Large Group | Progressive
Our client is a very highly respected and forward thinking food manufacturing business. They currently have an opportunity for a National Account Manager to help them within one of their key and growing divisions. They are looking for someone with previous account management experience, but they are keeping an open mind to the amount of experience you can bring. They are ideally looking for someone with Chilled Food/Drink experience, but more important to them is the right attitude and personality to work with the top end retailers.
Working with some of their key customers and ensuring their interests are maintained within the business at all times.
You will need to develop strong relationships with a range of buyers and keep them informed of all opportunities and challenges.
Working very closely with the internal procurement and operation teams, to maintain their outstanding service levels.
You will keep a close eye on the overall market and will aim to be the leaders in the category.
You will have had a national account background and will have dealt with some of the major retailers (M&S and/or Waitrose would be an advantage).
Ideally your experience will be from within the Chilled/Short Shelf life sector, but if you can demonstrate that you can work at the required pace, then this would be considered.
You will need to be hard working and have good attention to detail, as you will often be juggling a lot of tasks which are crucial to the business' success.
