Head of Alcoholic Drinks - Research and Consultancy

A unique opportunity to drive the growth in this research and consultancy business from a very technical perspective. As head of department you will be responsible for the business strategy, recruitment, development and retention in your team and to direct the delivery of quality research.

Day to day the role will involve presenting to industry partners and potential clients, developing business and increasing visibility of the brand. You will also manage the people and resources in the department to best serve the customer base and grow the profitability based on good financial strategies. You will also be responsible for the technical delivery of projects

You will be a technical leader within the brewing or alcoholic drinks industry, with a degree in science or technology. You must have an in-depth knowledge of the industry and be able to apply this knowledge to business strategy. Networking within the alcoholic drinks and brewing sector will be second nature to you and you will have the connections to grow the departments profile within the sector with the senior technical and commercial managers. You will also be a great manager of teams with the drive to develop skills and knowledge within your reports.
