About Fiona Cairns …

Fiona Cairns was established over 25 years ago, after Fiona made a batch of miniature fruit cakes for friends one Christmas. Trained as both a graphic designer and a pastry chef, Fiona’s cakes were both beautiful and delicious- there was nothing like them on the market at the time.

We now make over 2 million cakes every year, and meet orders from Waitrose, Harrods, Selfridges, and Le Bon Marche in Paris, as well as selling our cakes online.

About the role …

Reporting into the Managing Director the Key Account Manager will work with all internal functions, to ensure the highest level of customer service is given to each account.

You will manage the Commercial function at Fiona Cairns Ltd, including managing key accounts, proactively developing new business with each account and developing new accounts.  Securing and growing the relationships with the Customer key personnel, so as to maximize existing and future opportunities.  You will be tasked to deliver sales growth to agreed targets.

You will monitor incoming orders, investigate and resolve queries and issues raised by the Accounts. 

The Key Account Manager will maintain an accurate and up to date profile of each Account, summarizing monthly sales and performance figures and reporting these into the Monthly Management Meeting.

You will develop, lead and manage a full NPD growth programme with each Account. Ensure all activities are monitored and easily visible on a yearly Tracker. Ensure full engagement and communication with all internal functional departments.

About you …

You will possess a strong sales background backed with experience dealing with the retailers, with the ability to identify and close business opportunities. 

You should be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of achievement within a food related account management role and in addition you’ll have a can-do attitude, the ability to work to tight deadlines

You will be able to work very autonomously as well as part of a team, working to KPI’s and achieving targets.
