They are now on the lookout for an experienced and confident Production Supervisor who can push the boundaries to help achieve further market success in line with their excellent standards.
Reporting to the Production Manager you'll be responsible for running the production line and successfully supervising a team to ensure the company's food quality standards are met and maintained. You'll be evaluating processes and procedures, implementing improvements to ensure the site is running to maximum efficiency and capacity in the most cost effective manner. You'll also make sure your team adhere to the quality and safety policies of the company, promoting a safe working environment as well as providing support and guidance to maximise the potential of the team and the factory. Additionally you will assist with the generation of management reports and analyse data in relation to production processes and outputs.
We are looking for a Production professional who has gained production line management experience within the food manufacturing industry, ideally the meat sector. You'll have excellent communication and people management skills in order to lead your team effectively as well as a proven track record of achieving set KPI’s. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation is essential, specifically within a factory environment. You will also have developed a good understanding of the technical and quality aspects of food production as well as an analytical and logical approach to ensuring the continual smooth running of the production line.
