Job Title: Site Hygiene Manager
Salary: £30,000 to £32,000
Location: Nottingham


Our client is one of the largest suppliers of premium food products into the UK's major retailers. Due to continued growth they are looking to strengthen their Technical Team with a capable and driven Site Hygiene Manager.
This is an engaging and diverse role, working alongside the Technical Manager to manage and develop the onsite Hygiene standards and systems. Working with modern hygiene management techniques in a fast moving and state of the art production facility this role requires a precise individual with a strong working knowledge of the Hygiene sector.
It is ideal for knowledgeable Technical or Hygiene Professionals who are seeking an opportunity to truly progress their career and work for a strong company that values its employees and their development.

This role is on a night shift so flexibility on hours is needed

* Ensuring that all the site Hygiene and Food Safety policies are up to date and compliant with customer codes of practice.
* Delivering solutions for continuous business improvement that ensure Food Safety, Legality & Quality and a strong product output at all times.
* Training and daily management of the hygiene staff.
* Regular maintenance and deep cleaning of all on site machinery
* Performing regular hygiene audits and working in partnership with the Technical Manager on retailer and BRC audits.
* Liaising with Engineering, Production and Operations Managers to encourage strong communication channels
* Experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
* Practical working experience of Hygiene management within the food manufacturing industry.
* Knowledge of modern Hygiene and Quality Practices
* Strong work ethic and man management skills.
* Team player who is able to work with their own department as well as others.
* Work well under pressure and is flexible to meet the needs of the business.
* Level 3 HACCP Minimum.
