Greencore Food to Go Northampton is undergoing unprecedented growth with over £30 Million invested in our site. The end result is that we have recently opened our 4th unit and are in the process of building our 5th, which is due to open in early 2017. What you'll be doing

As a Senior Development Chef you will focus on innovation, providing creative food leadership and you will be pushing the boundaries of conventional food development to deliver fabulous products.

You will work closely with Marketing, PD and Commercial to ensure alignment and delivery of the overall strategy, making sure that current and future trends are always a key consideration in meeting customer needs.

Building and developing relationships with key customer contacts to help drive the development of market leading products is also required as part of this role.

What you'll need

You will have a real passion for food and possess a creative mind-set to channel your imagination. Ideally you will have advanced through the ranks as a career chef within the restaurant trade before moving into food manufacturing and gaining experience in product development and food technology.

Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential in order to translate your creative elements into finished products for high volume manufacturing. Communication and relationship management are vitally important so a good understanding of PowerPoint alongside strong presentation skills will be a must.
