A leading FMCG manufacturer with multiple UK sites is now seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator/Administrator for a site in Kent. Reporting into the SHE Manager, the Health & Safety Coordinator/Administrator will assist in accurately managing and updating the site H&S databases, completing risk assessments and collating up to date contractor records.
The successful Health & Safety Administrator will ideally hold a formal qualification (IOSH / NEBOSH). A manufacturing background is essential and experience in the FMCG industry is preferable. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to convey all relevant information in the weekly and monthly reports and meetings. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and if possible Access and Visio) will be required.

Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Coordinator/Administrator include:
- Updating & maintenance of appropriate databases
- Safety meeting administration
- Generating and communicating weekly and monthly reports as required
- Preparing RIDDOR forms for submission
- Collating, responding to and storing information relating to personal injury claims
- Conducting risk assessments on and off site
- Delivery and development of tool box talks
- Specific H&S training as required by the business
- Conduct site inspections, site tours and planned audits to identify hazards, non conformances and generate preventative / corrective action reports
